Buokrom residents 'flooded' by private developer

Residents of Buokrom are facing flooding due to a huge pile of sand left by a private developer operating opposite the Linex company.
The developer, who is putting up a structure in the area has stockpiled a large amount of sand, which is obstructing the flow of flood waters whenever it rains.
Residents said they find it very difficult to get out of their houses during the rainy season due to the flooding. They added that they have called the attention of the owner of the site to the problem to no avail.
They warned that if the developer does not address the issue, they might be forced to take the law into their own hands.
