NPP Chairman hopeful Kokofu pledges to stop interchange painting in political colours in Kumasi, serves strong warning to Dr Amoakohene
NPP Ashanti Regional Chairman hopeful, Dr. Henry Kwabena Kokofu, has vowed to stop the Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Frank Amoakohene, from painting interchanges in Kumasi.
Speaking on Kessben TV, surrounding the painting of some interchanges in the Ashanti Region, Kokofu argued that public infrastructure should be managed professionally and not used anyhow.
According to him, the painting exercise has created unnecessary public debate and division, insisting that national projects must remain neutral and serve the interests of all citizens regardless of political affiliation.
Kokofu maintained that his leadership would promote discipline and professionalism within the party and government appointees. He stressed that state infrastructure should focus on durability and aesthetics rather than political symbolism.
