NDC Manifesto: My next administration will rationalize port fees & charges, restore licenses of collapse banks – John Mahama
John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has pledged to streamline port fees if elected. He also committed to implementing measures to address the depreciation of the cedi against the dollar.
Speaking at the Manifesto launch on Saturday, John Dramani Mahama noted that his next government would rationalize port fees and charges, and measures to stabilize the cedi and macroeconomic environment.
He also promised to restore the licenses of the banks that were wrongly revoked during the financial sector clean-up.
He stated that the NPP, despite repackaging themselves, took over a robust economy from the NDC but has ultimately ruined it.
