Kumasi: Commercial sex workers resolve to increase charges amid Cedi to Dollar depreciation (Video)

The commercial sex workers in the capital city of the Ashanti region have said that they are going to increase their charges following the fall of the cedi to the dollar which has affected general trade in Ghana.

Speaking with Kessben FM’s Osempakani Samuel, the sex workers at Adum Nsuase and its environs indicated that the charges in the region of GHC50 will be increased between GHC80 to GHC150.

According to them, the old charges can longer afford to take of their needs following the increase in the general goods and services in Ghana currently due to the fall of the cedi.

They strongly reiterated for their other colleagues in the region to comply with the new price charges.

They bemoaned that most often some of the colleagues in the business flout their general price charge and trade with their own service charges.
