Communications Minister Dr Edward Omane Boamah has sent a reminder to government ministries, departments and agencies that the ban on buying Christmas gifts and presents with Government funds announced by President John Mahama last year, is still in force.
A statement signed by Dr Boamah, copied to the Ghana News Agency on Monday, said the 2013 directive targeting all government agencies financed from the consolidated fund “is still in force and all concerned are expected to comply.”
