The system welcomes women struggling, so we should help them, but it does not with men – Rev Vincent Kankam (Sofo Kankam)

Vincent Kankam has urged society to show greater appreciation for fathers and men, highlighting what he described as the often-overlooked challenges they face.

Speaking on his “Food For Thought” show on Kessben FM, Rev. Kankam noted that society is generally more welcoming and supportive of women who are struggling, often providing sympathy and assistance during difficult times.

According to him, men facing similar hardships do not always receive the same level of support, leaving many to deal with their challenges in silence. He called on families, communities, and institutions to recognize the sacrifices and contributions of men, especially fathers.

The clergyman stressed the need to celebrate fatherhood and acknowledge the important role men play in nurturing families and supporting society.

Rev. Kankam’s remarks have sparked conversations among listeners about the importance of supporting both men and women during difficult periods and ensuring that fathers receive the appreciation they deserve.
