GITFiC Establishes Ethics and Admission Committee for AfCFTA Professional Course

The Ghana Institute of Trade and Finance (GITFiC) has established an Ethics and Admission Committee for the AfCFTA Professional Course, in response to resolutions passed at its 9th annual meeting in November 2025.
The committee, chaired by Dr. Michael Kusi-Appiah from the National Development Planning Commission, will ensure strict adherence to the course regulations, safeguarding academic standards and the welfare of students and facilitators.
Other committee members include Dr. Samuel Antwi from the Information Service Department and Madam Patience Arko-Boham from the Ministry of Finance. Their appointments take effect immediately.
The GITFiC aims to expand the study of the AfCFTA Curriculum to professionals and practitioners across Ghana and Africa, and develop a tailored curriculum for Africa’s high school structure.
This move is part of GITFiC’s Agenda 2031, aimed at promoting African trade and economic integration. The committee’s establishment is expected to enhance the credibility and effectiveness of the AfCFTA Professional Course.
