The International Youth Development Forum for Peacebuilding and Empowerment Foundation (IYDEF-PEF) has officially announced the appointment of Darl Princella Tigenoah as a Member of its Global Executive Platform.
The announcement was made by the Office of the Global Administration Secretary of the IYDEF-PEF Global Executive Platform.
IYDEF-PEF, a global foundation committed to Building Leaders, Advancing Peace and Transforming Communities, said the appointment recognizes individuals who demonstrate commitment to its core values of peacebuilding, youth development, empowerment, social cohesion, constructive dialogue, humanitarian service and sustainable community development.
In a statement, the Foundation said:
“The International Youth Development Forum for Peacebuilding and Empowerment Foundation proudly recognizes Darl Princella Tigenoah as a Member of the IYDEF-PEF Global Executive Platform, in support of the Foundation’s commitment to peacebuilding, youth development, empowerment, social cohesion, constructive dialogue, humanitarian service and sustainable community development.
”As a Global Executive Member, Darl Princella Tigenoah is expected to uphold the principles, values and institutional objectives of IYDEF-PEF while supporting its programmes, initiatives and international engagements.
The role will also provide a platform for her to contribute to strategic cooperation, responsible leadership, youth empowerment, peacebuilding, intercultural understanding and positive community transformation.
The Foundation noted that the Global Executive Platform brings together emerging and established leaders from across the world to drive collective action on peace, human dignity, and sustainable development.
“The IYDEF-PEF Global Executive Platform warmly welcomes Darl Princella Tigenoah into the global family and looks forward to her meaningful participation in advancing peace, human dignity, youth development, international cooperation and sustainable development,” the statement added.
The appointment is guided by the Foundation’s motto: United for Peace, Empowered for Impact.
IYDEF-PEF is an international youth-focused foundation working to nurture responsible leadership and promote peaceful, inclusive and resilient communities through advocacy, dialogue, capacity building and humanitarian action.
