Former Presidential Advisor on Health, Dr. Anthony Nsiah-Asare, has applauded Ghana for our robust public health system”
In an exclusive interview with Wofo Kofi Appiah on Kessben Maakye Show Kumasi, Dr. Nsiah-Asare said, Ghana’s robust public health system is a contributing factor for the detection of diseases”
Dr. Nsiah-Asare revealed that, our health system is made up of a 5-tie system, including community health planning system in Ghana, noting that, the strong tier system has paved the way for mass immunization”
Dr. Nsiah-Asare made significant emphasis on the availability of public hospitals, mission hospitals and individual hospitals”
He claimed that, in Ghana, we have 261 district hospitals with 88 lacking a semblance of a hospital, backed by research from Ghana health service”
President Akuffo-Addo prioritized health systems and human lives in Ghana, he adds. He stated, Health is wealth.”
