14 out of 18 Ghana Premier League clubs meet licensing deadline ahead of 2025/26 season – Check out the list

14 out of the 18 top-flight clubs successfully submitted their applications for club licensing before the official deadline of August 6, 2025, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has confirmed.

The licensing process, which ensures clubs meet minimum standards in areas such as infrastructure, finance, personnel, legal matters, and sporting criteria, is mandatory for participation in the upcoming league campaign.

Here are the 14 Clubs according to Kessben Sports

2. FC Samatex

3. Hohoe United FC

4. Asante Kotoko SC

5. Berekum Chelsea FC

6. Hearts of Oak SC

7. Hearts of Lions

8. Bibiani Gold Stars SC

9. Young Apostles FC

10. Visions FC

11. Techiman Eleven Wonders

12. Bechem United FC

13. Nations FC

14. Dreams FC

These clubs have now advanced to the next phase of evaluation, where their submissions will be reviewed by the GFA’s Club Licensing Board.

The clubs that missed the deadline are:

1. Aduana Stars FC

2. Karela United FC

3. Swedru All Blacks FC

4. Basake Holy Stars FC
