Bashiru Hayford describes Black Stars Interim Coach appointment as dangerous and surprising

Ghanaian coach Bashiru Hayford has described the appointment of Kim Lars, Ibrahim Tanko and Godwin Attram as interim coaches for Ghana’s November match against Somalia as “dangerous and surprising.”

Speaking on Kessben Sports with Sir Joe Laka, Hayford reflected on his coaching experience, saying he had come to understand that success depends not just on where one is but on where one truly belongs.

“I was the first coach to lead Somalia to victory in an international match. I have come to realize that it’s not about where you are, but where you belong. The appointment of the Black Stars interim coaches is dangerous and surprising.” ” he stated.

Coach Hayford also highlighted his international coaching credentials, revealing that he was the first coach of Somalia to lead the national team to victory in an international match.
