Press Statement: NPP Oforikrom debunks “baseless allegation” by NDC

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: RESPONSE TO ALLEGATIONS MADE BY NDC OFORIKROM CONSTITUENCY

The Oforikrom Constituency of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) categorically refutes the baseless and unfounded allegations made by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in their recent press statement. The accusations against NPP Constituency Chairman, Anthony Amankwah, and the NPP parliamentary candidate, Mr. Michael Kwasi Aidoo, lack any merit and should be disregarded by the general public.

The NDC’s attempt to undermine the integrity of the smooth voter registration process in Oforikrom Constituency is both misleading and without substance. The NPP-led by Chairman Amankwa and parliamentary candidate, Mr. Michael Kwasi Aidoo, are fully committed to upholding the rule of law and ensuring a transparent and peaceful electoral process. The limited registrations are proceeding smoothly without any hindrance or breach of the law.

It is evident that the NDC is seeking unnecessary attention by making baseless accusations against the NPP. We urge the public to dismiss these allegations and focus on the positive and inclusive democratic environment that characterizes the ongoing voter registration process in Oforikrom Constituency.

The NPP is rallying the support of everyone to increase the votes and ensure a victory for Dr. Mahamud Bawumia as president come December. We remain focused on our goal and call on all stakeholders to join us in promoting a peaceful and successful electoral process in Oforikrom Constituency.

There are more than ten(10) Police Personnel’s here at the Registration Center, and none of the above allegations raised by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have come to their attention. therefore, there is no evidence on their accusations raised.
