Scottish club Hibernian signs Black Stars goalkeeper Jojo Wollacott
Jojo Wollacott has joined Hibernian FC on a three-year deal with Charlton Athletic for an unknown sum.
Wollacott and Hibernian manager Lee Johnson previously collaborated at Bristol City, and they are again back together.
Wollacott, who regrettably missed the last World Cup owing to a finger injury received during the pre-tournament warm-up, will offer healthy competition for captain David Marshall.
Wollacott played on numerous loans during his seven years with Bristol City before joining Swindon Town for the 2021–22 campaign. After that, he transferred to League One with Charlton Athletic last summer and played in 20 games.
Along with Wollacott, Hibernian recently revealed the additions of left-back Jordan Obita and seasoned forward Adam Le Fondre to their roster, strengthening their lineup for the next campaign.
