School children captured sleeping and learning on floor in a community near Alban Bagbin’s hometown

Some schoolchildren at Kalio in the Upper West Region have to lie on the ground of the classrooms to learn.

According to a teacher who spoke with Akwasi Ntiamoah on Kessben BreakingNews , the school has a student population of 212 with 10 staff.

Students at the primary level are forced to go down on the floor to write and read. He says the situation is not news to the authorities within the Upper West Region.

The school which is very close to Sombo the hometown of the current speaker of parliament Alban Bagbin has never seen a renovation since it was built according to the residents of Kalio, the community where the school is located.
