That was the real standard of our football the fixed games have outshined – Andy Kirm lauds the FA cup final game
Ghanaian Sports Journalist Andy Kirm has commended the standard of play in the final game of the MTN FA cup played between Accra Hearts of Oak and Bechem United last sunday.
The game which ended in 2-1 in favour of the Accra based football club goes in the history as one of the epic football encounters in the 2021-22 season.
Andy speaking on Kessben TV’s midfield Action with Sir Joe Laka described the game as one of the best game in the season.
The sports pundit underscored that the standard play which was exhibited by both clubs represent the true standard of the domestic but that has however been marred by alleged incessant match fixing.
According to him, the local game has been destroyed by the match fixing which is purported to be versed in the Ghanaian local game thus affecting the standard of play.
