I will advice Andy Kirm not to honor GFA invitation – Frank Nero gives reasons

Senior sports journalist Frank Owusu Ansah who is widely known as Frank Nero has stated that he will advice his younger colleague, Andy Kirm not to honour the invitation by the Ghana football association.

Following a series of alleged games of match-fixing in the Ghana premier league, Andy Kirm together with some other sports journalists have been invited by the GFA to assist in investigations with the information they have.

Frank Nero addressing the issue about the alleged fixed games and the invitation of the journalists to assist in investigations said it is not wrong to have done so but the approach is bad.

According to the senior sports journalist, for the public to be in the known of journalists to assist in the investigation puts the lives of these journalists at risk.

“When a committee is formed to get any form of data collection and journalists are invited to bring in the information they have, is not wrong. But I have a problem with the names of the journalists going public. The names of these journalists should not have come out. It puts the lives of these journalists at risk. I will personally advice Andy Kirm not to honour the invitation” He said on Midfield Action on Kessben FM/TV.

According to the reports, Andy Kirm was invited together with Atta Poku of Wontumi FM and Saddick Adams of Angel FM.
