Prophet jailed 25 years for Sodomy

A 35-year-old Prophet of the Twelve Apostles Church, Benjamin Manso has been sentenced to 25 years imprisonment in hard labour by a Cape Coast Circuit Court in Elmina in the Central Region.
The convict was jailed yesterday for having unnatural carnal knowledge of three boys aged 15, 12 and 10 years, under the guise of healing them from a peculiar ailment for which they had been admitted at his house.
The Court presided over by her worship Audrey Kocuvie-Tay sentenced him after he pleaded guilty to three counts of defilement. Prior to the Judgment, Prophet Manso, blamed the devil for his actions and remorsefully pleaded with the Court for leniency.
