NDC stress-free policy is all lies, I have paid GH¢17,000 for my child’s KNUST accommodation alone- Henry Nana Boakye

The Second National Vice Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Henry Nana Boakye, has criticised the NDC government’s education policy, describing its promise of a stress-free experience for students and parents as misleading.

Speaking on Kessben FM, Nana Boakye disclosed that his child had gained admission to the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), but he had already paid GH¢17,000 for accommodation alone.

He cited the amount as an example of the financial pressure parents continue to face in securing accommodation for their children pursuing tertiary education.
