Atta Poku urges Ghanaians to support Kurt Okraku for CAF presidency
Aduana Stars CEO Atta Poku has called on Ghanaians to rally behind Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Kurt Okraku and support his ambitions at the continental level.
Atta Poku acknowledged Okraku’s progress in football administration, saying his current position and experience should encourage Ghanaians to help him pursue the presidency of the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
“Where Kurt has gotten to currently, everybody in Ghana should push him to get the CAF president,” Poku said.
However, the Aduana Stars chief made it clear that his support for Okraku does not extend to his reported bid for a third term as GFA president.
“Even though I don’t personally support his third-term bid,” Poku added.
Poku’s comments highlight the distinction between his views on Okraku’s continued leadership of the GFA and his potential elevation to a broader role within African football.
