Chelsea have started well, but their goalkeeper Sánchez can’t take them there – Andy Kerm

Chelsea may have made a positive start to the season, but their goalkeeper Robert Sánchez could prevent the club from achieving its ambitions, according to football analyst Andy Kerm.

Speaking on Kessben Sport after Chelsea’s 3-2 away victory over Fulham, Kerm acknowledged the Blues’ encouraging start but questioned whether Sánchez is good enough to lead the team to greater success.

“Chelsea have started well, but I don’t think their goalkeeper Sánchez can take them there,” Kerm said.

Chelsea’s hard-fought victory over Fulham provided an encouraging opening result, but Kerm believes the club may need to address the goalkeeping position if they are to compete seriously for major honours.
