Former NPP National Treasurer Abankwa Yeboah Picks Forms To Contest National 1st Vice Chairmanship

Former New Patriotic Party [NPP] National Treasurer, Mr. Kwabena Abankwa Yeboah, has officially picked forms to contest the party’s National 1st Vice Chairmanship position ahead of the NPP National Elections slated for October 3, 2026.

The move signals his return to the national executive race with a focus on unity, party rebuilding, and grassroots mobilization as the NPP prepares for the 2028 general elections.

Announcing his bid, Abankwa Yeboah said his campaign will be anchored on bringing the party together at all levels to deliver victory in 2028.

His campaign slogan is: “Working Together For Victory 2028.”

Experience At The National Level
Mr. Abankwa Yeboah previously served as NPP National Treasurer, where he was part of the team that managed the party’s finances during a critical period in government and opposition.

Party insiders describe him as a grassroots mobilizer with deep knowledge of the party’s structures from polling station to national level.

Focus On Unity and 2028
With the NPP set to elect new national officers in October, the contest for National 1st Vice Chair is expected to be keen. The 1st Vice Chair plays a key role in supporting the National Chairman in administration and coordinating the party’s activities nationwide.

Abankwa Yeboah says his priority will be to strengthen internal cohesion, support constituency and regional executives, and ensure resources and strategy are aligned toward winning 2028.
