Only 10% of so-called Ghanaian celebrities are grateful to those who helped them in their journeys – Fante Quoo, Host of Kessben Drive

Quoo Fante has criticized what he describes as the growing sense of entitlement among some Ghanaian celebrities, claiming that only a small number show appreciation to the people and media platforms that supported their rise to fame.
Speaking on the drive-time show on Kessben FM, Quoo Fante stated that “only about 10%” of so-called Ghanaian celebrities remain grateful to industry players, presenters, and supporters who contributed to their success stories.
According to him, the influence of social media has changed the attitude of many celebrities, with some now believing they no longer need traditional media platforms to stay relevant or connect with fans.
“The celebrities of today think social media has brought them closer to the fans, so they overlook the role traditional media played in building their brands,” he noted.
Quoo Fante further urged traditional media houses to become more creative and innovative instead of depending heavily on celebrities for content and audience engagement. He argued that radio and television platforms must develop fresh ideas and original programming that can thrive independently.
