Some of the arrests being made are not the rule of law, it’s backwardness and bush politics – Kwasi Mensah
Political analyst Kwasi Mensah has criticised some recent arrests in the country, describing them as acts of “backwardness and bush politics” rather than the enforcement of the rule of law.
Speaking on Kessben FM, Kwasi Mensah argued that certain actions being taken by authorities appear politically motivated and do not reflect democratic governance principles.
According to him, the rule of law must be applied fairly and transparently, without intimidation or selective justice. He warned that using state institutions to target perceived opponents could undermine public confidence in the country’s democratic system.
Kwasi Mensah further called on leaders and law enforcement agencies to uphold professionalism and ensure that justice is administered without political influence.
