NDC Gov’t teacher recruitment portal was opened at 2am and closed within minutes – Dr Mashood Abongo
Dr Mashood Abongo has criticised the government’s recent teacher recruitment exercise, alleging that the application portal was opened and closed within a very short period.
Speaking on Kessben FM, Dr Abongo claimed that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) government had announced plans to recruit 7,000 new teachers but failed to provide adequate access for applicants.
According to him, the recruitment portal was reportedly opened around 2 a.m. and shut down just minutes later, leaving many qualified applicants unable to submit their details.
He described the situation as unfair and questioned the transparency of the process.
Dr Abongo further called on the relevant authorities to reopen the portal and ensure equal opportunity for all eligible candidates seeking employment in the education sector.
