Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) saves time and money – Law Lecturer, Oheneba Ansu Diabour

Law lecturer at Central University, Oheneba Ansu Diabour, has highlighted the benefits of resolving disputes through Alternative Dispute Resolution, noting that it is both cost-effective and time-saving.
Speaking on Kessben FM with Wofa Kofi Appiah, he explained that ADR provides a more efficient alternative to the traditional court system. According to him, processes such as mediation and arbitration help parties reach amicable solutions without the delays often associated with litigation.
“Handling issues through Alternative Dispute Resolution is less costly and saves time,” he stated, adding that it also reduces the emotional strain that prolonged court cases can place on individuals and families.
Oheneba Ansu Diabour encouraged the public to consider ADR, especially in cases involving family and civil disputes, where maintaining relationships is important. He further urged legal practitioners and institutions to promote awareness of ADR as a practical and accessible means of justice.
