Rev. Vincent Kankam has emphasized the hidden cost behind what people often describe as “free” benefits, stating that nothing in life is truly without payment.
Speaking on his Food For Thought show on Kessben FM, he noted that even when something appears to be received freely, someone has already paid the price for it at an earlier stage.
“It’s been paid for… there is no free lunch anywhere in this world. It may come into your hand free, but someone paid for it earlier,” he said, encouraging listeners to reflect on the value and effort behind everyday provisions.
His message was centered on gratitude, responsibility, and awareness of the unseen sacrifices that make many opportunities and resources available to others.
