If you don’t take care of yourself & you die, your death will be capital for someone to exploit – Rev. Vincent Kankam (Sofo Kankam) warns

Rev. Vincent Kankam has issued a striking reminder about the importance of self-care, cautioning that neglecting one’s well-being can ultimately benefit others in ways that may not align with one’s intentions.
Speaking on his show on Kessben FM, the Reverend emphasized that individuals often push themselves to the brink, whether in the name of work, responsibility, or societal expectations, without considering the consequences.
According to him, “If you don’t take care of yourself and you die, your death will be a capital for someone to exploit.”
He explained that while many people sacrifice their health for family, employers, or community obligations, the harsh truth is that life goes on after one is gone. Others may inherit, replace, or even profit from the space or resources left behind.
Rev. Kankam urged listeners to value themselves enough to rest, seek help when needed, and prioritize mental, emotional, and physical health. He noted that self-care is not an act of selfishness but a necessary responsibility, stressing that everyone is replaceable except to themselves.
