Justice Served: TikToker David Afful Jailed 7 Months for Inciting Violence Against Government Officials

The Ghana Police Service has secured the conviction of David Kwodwo Prah Afful, also known as Kwame Nkrumah II, who was arrested on 13th September 2025 for inciting violence against some public officials and other government workers.

The accused was arraigned before Circuit Court 8 in Accra, presided over by His Honour Amoah Hagan, on charges of Threat of Death and Offensive Conduct Conducive to the Breach of the Peace.

He pleaded not guilty to the first count of Threat of Death and guilty to the second count of Offensive Conduct. On his own plea, the court convicted him and sentenced him to seven months’ imprisonment with hard labour for the second count. The case on the first count of Threat of Death has been adjourned to 15th October 2025.

Convict David Afful, alias Kwame Nkrumah II, is being processed for transfer to the Nsawam Medium Security Prisons to serve his sentence.
