In a candid conversation, the talented artist revealed how she left a promising career in nursing to pursue her passion for music. And looking back on her ten years in the industry, Sista Afia says it’s been a “smooth ride” — and she’s got the stories to prove it.

When asked about her decision to make the bold switch from nursing to music, Sista Afia didn’t hold back. “I left nursing because I felt something was wrong while doing it,” she said with a thoughtful expression. “It wasn’t fulfilling me in the way I thought it would.
