Public sector workers are the ones collapsing this country, not the Politicians – Kusi Boafo
The Chief Executive officer of the public sector reforms, Thomas Kusi Boafo has accused the public sector of draining the nation to the point of collapse.
The former lecturer at the Kumasi Technical University says the rate at which the public sector workers drain the nation financially far outweighs that of the politicians.
Speaking on Kessben FM/TV’s Maakye with Kwame Appiah Kubi, Mr. Kusi Boafo stressed it is an erroneous impression to think that the politicians are the ones who amass a lot from the nation’s coffers.
He noted that those in the public sector are now competing with big businessmen building big mansions and buying luxurious cars.
According to him, because of the fact that the public sector workers have been in there for long, they are well versed in the system which gives them an upper hand to engage in sorts of financial malfeasants.
“The public sector workers are the ones collapsing this country. I will apologize, the politicians are fools. The public sector workers know every corner and know all the tricks, they are the ones chopping the money” He Said.
