A/R: They came to deceive us, we won’t vote in 2024 – Thousands demonstrate over bad roads in Pekyi
Thousands of people in Pekyi number one and Pekyi number two in the Ashanti region of Ghana hit the street to demonstrate over the poor road network leading to their communities.
Some of the aggrieved residents of the two communities threatened that they will not come out to vote in the 2024 General elections if their roads are not fixed.
Speaking on Kessben TV, they said prior to the election 2020, machines and equipment were brought on the roads which began working but after the elections, they did not know how the machines disappeared from the road.
They reckon it to be a total deception by the Government who they say have taken them for granted for quite a long time because they know what comes may, they will be voting for them.
