According to female engineer Abigail Tenewaa, accomplished and bright women terrify Ghanaian males.

The well-known female engineer claimed in an interview that Ghanaian males are reluctant to date or wed accomplished, clever women.

He claims that they choose women with lower IQs because they perceive these women as self-assured and uncontrollable.

According to her, when males see a woman working in engineering, they tend to view them as tough and intelligent.
