Appiah-Kubi Joins Chief Mpianim To Honour The Basoah Family In Kumawu

The 1st Vice Chaiman and aspiring parliamentary candidate for Kumawu Constituency, Hon. Kwame Appiah-Kubi, joined the former Chief of Staff of the Republic of Ghana, Mr Kwadwo Mpianim and a host of other dignitaries to unveil a bust of Hon. R.A Basoah at the Besoro Community Centre to mark the 10th Anniversary of the passing of the former Member of Parliament of Kumawu Constituency.

The Omanhene of the Kumawu Traditional Council Barima Sarfo Tweneboah II on Sunday 9th Commissioned the Besoro Community Centre to honor Hon. RA Basoah the memory of former MP and his family for their dedicated service to the people of Kumawu and having given the Kumawu constituency two members of parliament, Hon R.A Basoah and Hon. Philip Basoah (all of blessed memory) in the 4th Republic of Ghana.

Kumawumanhene in his remarks stated that, the people of Kumawu always remembers their fallen heroes and ancestors and that has necessitated commissioning of the Hon. RA Bosoah Community Centre in Besoro in honor of its late MP and the Basoah Family.

Chief Kwadwo Mpianim who represented the Former President John Agyekum Kufour and the NPP administration under which Hon. RA Basoah served indicated, the late MP is remembered for his hard work for the good people of Kumawu and selfless sacrifice to the Kufour government even on his sick bed and to the point of death.

Chairman Appiah-Kubi, the Aspiring Member of Parliament for KUMAWU in the upcoming bye-election also expressed his fond memories of Hon. RA Basoah and his admiration for the deceased sitting MP, Hon. Philip Basoah.

He expressed his condolences to the Basoah family and pledge his continuous support to the family. He asked for prayers and the blessings of the Basoah family to win the upcoming NPP primaries and bye-elections to continue the work of Hon Basoah for the good people of Kumawu and the family.
