Pra River turns brownish over Galamsey activities (Video)

The once beautiful Pra river has unfortunately turned muddy and heavily polluted due to the “galamsey” activities in and around the neighbouring communities.

Despite the current bad state of the River, Upon a visit by Kessben TV, there were revellers at the tourist site having fun.

The river for past years has been a major source of drinking water for dozens of communities around but that can’t be said any longer due to how dirty it has been today.

Beposohene, Nana Poprodo expressed worry over the situation. Speaking on Kessben FM’s Breaking News, Nana Poprodo called on the government to as a matter of urgency turn attention to the development to curb the Galamsey activities.
