The Ghana premier league should be rotated at 4 or 5 good venues to whip up enthusiasm & boost stadium attendance – Kwame Adom Frimpong

Former Asante Kotoko and Aduana FC Midfielder has suggested that in a bid to increase stadium attendance, the Ghana Premier League should be played at 4 or 5 good venues. ‘
Adom Frimpong speaking in an interview with Kessben TV stated that to whip up the interest of the league, the league games should be rotated at some selected venues.
According to him, with this format, the fans at these selected venues will be hugely anticipating the set of games that will be played at these said venues.
He noted that this had been a format of how the league games are played in Ethiopia where he currently plays and stressed that if this format is introduced in Ghana, it will boost stadium attendance.
“To boost stadium attendance and whip up interest in the Ghana Premier League, we should play maybe 5 games at this venue and move to a different venue and rotate the games there.
With this, when a game is coming to a particular venue, they will be anticipating so much about it and it will always boost interest and stadium attendance. This has been the format of how the Ethiopian league is played” He said.
