Pogba set to complete Juventus return on free transfer after Man Utd exit

The France international midfielder is preparing to head back to Turin six years on from bringing an initial spell with the Bianconeri to a close

Paul Pogba is poised to complete a return to Juventus as a free agent, GOAL can confirm, with the World Cup winner preparing to retrace his steps to Turin after reaching the end of his contract at Manchester United.

The 29-year-old midfielder spent four years with the Bianconeri between 2012 and 2016, with his profile enhanced in Italy to the point that a world record transfer fee of £89 million (£112m) was required in order to take him back to Old Trafford for a second stint in England.

He is now ready to head back to familiar surroundings in Serie A, with one more meeting required in order for a contract to be tabled and signed.
