Prince Sadat Appointed As Project Director For The NUGS Private Institutions Integration Scheme

Youth Leader and Law Student, Prince A. A. Sadat has been appointed as PROJECT DIRECTOR for the NUGS Private Institutions Integration Scheme (PIIS); and as well as Deputy Project Director for the NUGS Special Projects Committee. The two appointments are in accordance with the Union’s vision to strengthen the relationship between the Union and Private Institutions in the country and also to put up monumental capital projects in the 2022/2023 academic year.

The Senior Research & Data Analyst at the Political Officer of the President (Number 16) and Wisconsin University TESCON President in announcing the appointment wrote; “It is always an honour to serve my follow students across the globe. The journey still remains forward. Aluta Continua…….Victoria Ascerta”.

Portions of his appointment letter from the General Secretary of the union reads, “Pursuant to Chapter Six, Article 19(O) of the NUGS constitution, 2019 as amended, I write to inform you of the President’s decision to appoint you as the PROJECT DIRECTOR for the NUGS Private Institutions Integration Scheme (PIIS) which has subsequently been approved by the Elected National Executive Officers. Your appointment is in accordance with the Union’s vision to strengthen the relationship between the Union and Private institutions in the country.”

“Kindly communicate in writing your acceptance of this appointment or otherwise, not later than 4th May, 2022. You will be furnished with the appropriate terms of reference documents in due time.”

“It is the hope of the President and the Union that you shall discharge your duties diligently and efficiently in the sole interest of the Union and the Ghanaian students. I take this opportunity to congratulate you formally on your appointment and wish you well in your tenure of office.”

The young Political Researcher’s contributions towards the electoral victory of the current president of the National Union of Students (NUGS), H. E. Dennis Appiah Larbi-Ampofo and some of the national executives in the last elections at GNAT Village in Ejisu, Ashanti region cannot be overemphasized. 

He, together with other appointees took their oath of office at the well-attended first NUGS Central Committee meeting at the Presbyterian College of Education at Akropong, Akuapem in the Eastern Region of Ghana on Saturday, 14th May, 2022. 

Prince Amadu Anuwar-Sadat is a student of the Law Faculty of the Wisconsin International University College Ghana offering a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree. He is currently a Senior Research & Data Analyst at the Campaign Fund Raising Office of H. E. the President (Number 16) and also a Special Assistant to ALHAJI SHORT (former Member of the Council of State). Prince Sadat is also the TESCON President for Wisconsin University and the Chief Justice for the Ghana Union of Professional Students as well as the Wisconsin International University College. He has previously worked for corporate giants like Vodafone Ghana, Fidelity Bank Limited, Glico Life Insurance Company Limited; and has over ten (10) years of work experience in corporate Ghana. He has also worked as Personal Assistant to some of the finest politicians in the country. And his contributions towards the 2016 and 2020 victory of the NPP and H. E. Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo cannot be underestimated. He is a prolific writer with over 100 publications on social and political issues of national interest to his name; and has received several awards both in the corporate space, student leadership and in politics as well.

Prince Sadat has also represented the youth of Ghana on global platforms like the World Petroleum Council congress in Houston, Texas, USA; the United Nations (UN) Climate Change Conference in Glasgow, Scotland, UK and was also trained in PPP Solutions in Infrastructural construction in China.
