Mining site owner instruct guards to beat man to death for allegedly stealing his gold
Two young men were allegedly assaulted by guards of Napoleon Community mining following an order by the owner of the mining company to beat the two after he claimed they have stolen his gold at Atwereye in Manso Kwanta.
Following the heavy beatings, one of the men who has been identified as “Lilwin” lost his life after the severe beatings.
A relative of the deceased speaking on Kessben FM “Breaking News” confirmed the passing of his family member.
According to sources, the gold which the Mining tycoon claimed has been stolen is worth Ghc150. The family member speaking in an interview with Ali Baba on Kessben FM said the owner of the mining site has been one notorious guy in the community who goes around with his chest high with impunity.
He noted that after the sudden incident officials of the police personel came to the house of the mining site owner but he was not arrested.
Videos of the beatings where people were standing unconcerned as the two guys were being beating have since gone viral.
