Those who compare themselves to others, claiming to be better than others, lack wisdom – Rev Vincent Kankam (Sofo Kankam)
Reverend Vincent Kankam, popularly known as Sofo Kankam, has cautioned people against comparing themselves with others and claiming to be better than them, describing such behaviour as a sign of a lack of wisdom.
Speaking on his Food For Thought show on Kessben FM, Rev. Kankam urged people to avoid measuring their worth or achievements against those of others.
According to him, constantly comparing oneself with others and seeking to establish superiority does not reflect wisdom but can instead create unnecessary pride and unhealthy competition.
“They that compare themselves to others, claiming to be better than others, lack wisdom,” Rev. Kankam said.
He encouraged listeners to focus on personal growth, humility and making good use of their individual abilities rather than seeking validation by comparing themselves with others.
