The 2012 National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate for Ablekuma Central Ras Mubarak has expressed his disappointment with the founder and leader of Glorious Word Ministry International, Rev. Owusu Bempah and called on Ghanaians to dismiss his prophecies.
Rev. Owusu Bempah has prophesied that President John Mahama will die this year unless the President and his advisers take steps to reverse it.
According to Ras Mubarak, the founder and leader of Glorious Word Ministry International, Rev. Owusu Bempah is only seeking for attention.
He said Rev. Owusu Bempah has a track record of making such prophecies and after make material demands from his victims to pray on their behalf.
“I am hugely disappointed that a man of God would mix the word of God with politics because that is what he is doing. This is someone who invited me and my team into his office after we visited his church for a little chat,” he stated.
Ras Mubarak further stated, “He said he had wanted to meet with the late President Mills but to no avail and that he hoped my coming to church will open up an opportunity to meet up with His Excellency John Mahama and that if I can facilitate that it will be very good.”
“He [Rev. Owusu Bempah] further went on to say President Mahama will lose the election unless something was done so it was important I hooked him up with the President. He also predicted that I was going to win the elections. This man is seeking attention and it’s most unfortunate,” he added.
