Aged Nana Addo is ripe for Council of State, not president- Asiedu Nketia

The General Secretary of the governing National Democratic Congress says Nana Akufo-Addo could not have been president because he was too old to do so.
Asiedu Nketia said, of the eight candidates that contested the just ended 2012 elections, Nana Akufo-Addo was the oldest and had no business being there.
He said the “class mates” of the NPP flagbearer have now graduated to the Council of State and urged Nana Addo to do same.
The NDC scribe popularly called General Mosquito said the NDC under president John Mahama is magnanimous and has reserved a seat for Nana Addo as a Council of State member but he must first shirk his “all-die-be-die” comment and free SHS mentality.
Only then will he allowed to be part of the Council of State, he noted.
Asiedu Nketia made the comment at the Victory rally of the NDC at the Accra International Trade Fair Centre on Saturday.
The rally saw party gurus including, party chair, Kwabena Adjei, Sam P Yalley and National Organiser Yaw Boateng Gyan all attending. The President was absent.
The speakers all criticized the NPP for failing to concede defeat after what they claim was one of the fairest elections ever held in Ghana.
They said the elections were without fraud.
Asiedu Nketia is convinced the NPP has no credible evidence to adduce in court for their alleged rigged elections, urging supporters to organize victory rallies at all the constituencies.
