USA Fraud Prevention Unit flagged NSA Visa list over names not linked to NSA – Hon Vincent Assafuah reveals

Old Tafo MP and member of Parliament’s Select Committee, Hon. Vincent Assafuah, has alleged that a fraud prevention unit in the United States flagged names submitted by the National Sports Authority (NSA) for visa processing.

Speaking on the matter, Hon. Assafuah claimed that the US authorities discovered that some of the individuals listed were not employees of the NSA.

According to him, the development raised concerns about the authenticity of the list submitted for visa applications ahead of the USA World Cup.

The Old Tafo MP said the issue requires proper investigation to establish how the names came to be included on the list and who was responsible for submitting them.
