Video: Stubborn motor rider meets an untimely death after trying to cross flooded road

A young man believed to be in his early twenties has died after attempting to ride through a flooded road following heavy rains, Thursday morning.

The sad incident is reported to have happened in a suburb called Dwokaa in the Western Region of Ghana. An eyewitness speaking on Breaking News with Ali Baba Dankamabari said all road users of the main Dwokaa road could not use the road due to the degree of the flood caused by the early morning heavy rains.

“Workers, school children drivers, and all couldn’t use the road because of the flood. But this young man who got to the place with his motorbike tried to cross in the flood. Unfortunately for him, the water drowned him with his motorbike and took them away. His body was subsequently found after a swimming expert later came there to search for him” He said.

The body of the late rider with name so far unknown has been deposited at the mortuary. According to other eyewitnesses, the deceased told them he was going to buy fuel at the next town when he attempted to cross the flood with his motorbike.
