Esreso Bridge Finally Opened.
A bridge over River Oda at Esreso in the Bosomtwe District of Ashanti Region that links the district to the Kumasi Metropolis which was closed to allow for reconstruction several months back has finally been opened to vehicular and human traffic.
The reopening of this section of the road after the construction of the bridge is expected to ease the frustration commuters go through travelling from Aputuogya and surrounding areas to Kumasi to transact business.
Speaking to a few commuters who could not hide their joy traveling over the new bridge, they expressed the hope that work on the entire stretch of road from Kumasi to Lake Bosomtwe will be expedited to positively bring about business growth in the satellite areas.
Work on the stretch has progressed rather slowly to the dismay of residents and commuters as the dust on the road becomes unbearable during the dry seasons.
