Nana Addo faces Justice Kpegah in court today

The Fast Track High Court will this morning hear the much anticipated case in which a former Supreme Court Judge, Justice Francis Kpegah is challenging the legal credentials of NPP flag bearer Nana Akufo-Addo. 

Justice Kpegah has sued Nana Addo for holding himself as a lawyer when his checks at the General Legal Council prove otherwise. 

Lawyer for Nana Akuffo Addo, Godfred Dame told Citi News his client will use the opportunity to clear his name. 

Justice Kpegah in an earlier communication had issued a stern warning to the Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party for the 2012 elections, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to “enter appearance and file a defense to my claim in court and desist from using his paid agents and assigns to vilify me in the media.”

The decision of the court today is expected to bring to rest a matter that has been raised on several platforms about the eligibility of Nana Addo as a lawyer.
