2026 Ballon d’Or: If you put all the criteria together, I will go for Harry Kane – Dr. Franko Naro
Sports analyst Dr. Franko Naro has named Harry Kane as his preferred candidate for the 2026 Ballon d’Or, despite acknowledging Kylian Mbappé’s exceptional individual performances.
Speaking on Kessben Sports, Dr. Naro said Mbappé deserves significant credit for what he described as an unprecedented achievement, particularly his goalscoring exploits across competitions.
“Mbappé deserves it more than anyone for his individual performance. What he did has never happened,” Dr. Naro said.
However, he explained that when all the criteria for the Ballon d’Or are considered, including the broader requirements beyond individual statistics, he would ultimately choose Kane.
“But if you put all the criteria together, I will go for Harry Kane,” he added.
