Even a car was not given to me to go round as national communications officer – Richard Ahiagbah, NPP National First Vice Chairman hopeful
New Patriotic Party (NPP) National First Vice Chairman hopeful Richard Ahiagbah has raised concerns about the lack of resources available to party officers, saying inadequate support can affect their ability to effectively carry out their responsibilities.
Speaking on Kessben FM, Ahiagbah disclosed that during his time as the party’s National Communications Officer, he was not provided with even a vehicle to enable him travel around and perform his duties.
“Even a car to go round was not given to me as the National Communications Officer,” Ahigba said.
According to him, party officers require adequate logistical and financial support to execute their mandates effectively.
His comments come as he makes a case for stronger institutional support for party officials, stressing that officers cannot be expected to deliver effectively when they are not properly resourced.
