The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Mr. Christian Tetteh Yohuno, together with members of the Police Management Board (POMAB), paid a courtesy call on the Oti Regional Minister, Hon. John Kwadwo Gyapong, as part of the Police Administration’s working visit to the region.
During the meeting, Hon. John Kwadwo Gyapong commended the Ghana Police Service for its efforts in maintaining peace and security in the region, particularly in the fight against armed robbery and other criminal activities. He appealed for more Police personnel and additional operational vehicles to strengthen policing in the region and urged the Police to remain firm in dealing with all forms of crime.
In his remarks, the IGP assured the Regional Minister of the Police Administration’s continued support for the region and reaffirmed the Service’s commitment to maintaining law and order. He noted that the Police have a strong presence on the ground and will continue to intensify efforts to combat crime and bring perpetrators to justice.
