NPP Youth Organiser Aspirant POPE Calls for Unity, Says Party is Bouncing Back In 2028

Aspiring National Youth Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Michael Osei Boateng, popularly known as POPE, has appealed to party members to remain united despite perceptions of internal divisions, expressing confidence that the NPP will regroup and mount a strong comeback in the 2028 general election.

Speaking at a press conference at Elking Hotel in East Legon to officially announce his bid for the National Youth Organiser position, Mr. Boateng said no political party anywhere in the world enjoys absolute unity, arguing that differences of opinion are a natural part of democratic politics.

He urged party faithful not to be distracted by internal disagreements but to channel their energies into rebuilding the party through reconciliation, grassroots mobilisation and renewed commitment to its ideals.

Mr. Boateng said the NPP has the capacity to return to power in 2028 if members rally behind a common vision and strengthen the party’s youth base.

He pledged that, if elected National Youth Organiser, he would focus on uniting and energising the youth wing, expanding grassroots engagement and leading a nationwide mobilisation drive to position the NPP for electoral victory in 2028.
