Former New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential aspirant, Hon. Addai Nimo, has emphasized that development projects undertaken in the Ashanti Region benefit the entire country rather than the region alone.
Speaking on Kessben FM, Hon. Nimo stated that the Ashanti Region serves as a strategic hub that connects all parts of Ghana, making investments in the region beneficial to national growth and economic development.
“Any development in the Ashanti Region is not for Ashanti alone but for the whole of Ghana because Ashanti connects the whole country,” he said.
According to Hon. Nimo, prioritizing key economic and transport corridors such as those in the Ashanti Region ultimately contributes to the socio-economic advancement of Ghana as a whole.
